The Spotted Owl–again?

An excellent post on what has been par for the course for the last 8 years. The Spotted Owl. When do we get to put that issue to rest? If the Bush administration has its way–it will be as soon as the owl is extinct.

Bottom line: It is gross corporate/personal greed–not human need–that drives this process. It is shameful to treat God’s creation in this manner. We have enough land under intensive timber production. There is no need to cut the tiny percentage of ancient forest that is still in tact.
